Emma Foss

This years representative for the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity is Emma Foss. She's a sophomore Studio Art Major with a Minor in Human Biology. With these two very opposite subjects, she hopes to be able to combine her love for both art and science with a career in Medical and Biological Illustration. As an Art Major, Emma occupies most of her time drawing and painting but loves anything that involves creativity whether it be cooking, sewing, or crocheting. Emma adores her job as a painting instructor for children's painting parties at Brushtrokes in Old Town Tustin. A Tustin native and Miss Tustin 2014, Emma is not new to pageants or serving her community as a titleholder and is thrilled to have to opportunity to represent her sorority and help raise money for a great cause. Last year she served as Gamma Phi Beta's Community Service chair and tries to stay as involved as possible. She is a mentor for her little sister Jade from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and also volunteers within the Miss America Organization. Whenever she gets the chance, she loves to perform her talent of Speed Painting, which she will be doing at this years Delta Queen Pageant!

Her time spent living in Spain and Peru have inspired her to pursue a career in global medicine, which is a perfect combination of her two biggest passions: traveling and medicine! Chapman runs in Emily's blood, as 10 of her relatives have attended or worked at the University. Leaving a legacy of her own, Emily is a student ambassador, orientation leader, member of the tennis team, chemistry supplemental instructor, and cancer researcher. Delta Queen's philanthropic endeavors hit close to home for Emily, as she understands the importance of water and what it's like not to have it. She volunteered in a Global Medical Brigade in Nicaragua where she provided medical attention, taught water safety habits, and built sanitation stations to improve the community's water cleanliness. She is honored to represent Kappa and AKPsi and work together with members of Chapman and Charity: Water for Delta Queen! Did you know?
