Representing Kappa Kappa Gamma and Alpha Kappa Psi is Emily Frisch! Emily is a senior Biology major and Spanish minor from right here in Orange, CA. Her time spent living in Spain and Peru have inspired her to pursue a career in global medicine, which is a perfect combination of her two biggest passions: traveling and medicine! She has started her master’s in Leadership Development at Chapman and looks forward to being a physician one day. Chapman runs in Emily's blood, as 10 of her relatives have attended or worked at the University. Leaving a legacy of her own, Emily is a student ambassador, orientation leader, member of the tennis team, chemistry supplemental instructor, and cancer researcher. Delta Queen’s philanthropic endeavors hit close to home for Emily, as she understands the importance of water and what it's like not to have it. She volunteered in a Global Medical Brigade in Nicaragua where she provided medical attention, taught water safety habits, and built sanitation stations to improve the community's water cleanliness. She is honored to represent Kappa and AKPsi and work together with members of Chapman and Charity:Water for Delta Queen! Did you know? Emily lived in a hut alongside indigenous Shipibo people in the Peruvian amazon to study their language and health care!
